Now that we're in warmer climes the night time temperatures are much more comfortable and we had a restful night. Bren was up early to go buy a baguette – in the past they've sold out early – so then a leisurely start to the day. Bit of housekeeping and servicing the van before the chairs came out and we relaxed in the sunshine.
The campsite appeared to be busy yesterday but not so much today. This was probably due to many Spanish indulging in their habitual weekends away but we haven't actually seen much movement of touring units; maybe they used the chalets? Whatever, apart from the shop everything appeared to have closed down as we discovered on a walk around but not a problem for us, just looking for some peace and quiet. A team were busy relaying the central driveway, at first not seeming to be making any progress until suddenly they'd completed two long lengths of kerbs, ready for block paving to go down.
Late afternoon we indulged again in a cuppa, cake and a chat but Colin is definitely going downhill health-wise so we ensured there was sufficient medication to hand and a few days rest should hopefully sort him out. We later learned from another couple that there was a bug going around which seemed to tie in with his symptoms, mainly a 48 hour heavy cold/flu.
A gorgeous sunset as the temperature dropped and we packed up for the night.
