Yet another bright but cool morning with a little bit of high cloud delaying the warm up although it did not really reach the temperatures of the last few days.
Our friends departed after breakfast as their intentions were to cross to Maroc next week but we're just going to wait and see.
Chats with the neighbours then Bren got a few essentials from the shop and it was lunchtime. Later a degree of confusion arose when new arrivals found us parked on the pitch that Reception had told them was free – it seems that the extensions to stay had been allocated to our friends pitch. Quickly sorted out by the site manager and everyone was happy.
Later we both admitted to feeling a bit “down”, maybe due to the departure of our friends, but problems with Jamie's paperwork and Terry's ongoing queasiness also played its part. In fact we did actually consider returning home but the weather reports and forecasts left us resolving to give it at least a few more days and perhaps a change of scenery next week would help.
