“Yip, yip, Dad I need to go out”, but not too early, got us up again!
Allegedly good weather is forecast for today so we're going to have a housekeeping session. First off get a load of washing in to the super-sized machine then Bren had a good tidy and sweep out whilst Terry carted gallons of water back and forth – every drop of water we use is carried, twice! Transferred the washing to the tumble dryer but found out later someone had messed with it so it hadn't dried. Not to worry, get the whirlygig out as it's warm sunshine with a nice drying breeze.
Until after lunch when fairly quickly the clouds came over and we espied rain showers heading our way so everything into the van until it eventually stopped. We did put the awning out as shelter but it didn't last all that long so we tried again, however it was now not drying so Bren got another token and took her turn in the queue – everybody doing the washing today!
Meanwhile the catch on an overhead locker went ping and sprayed parts everywhere but despite finding them all we couldn't put it back together. Fortunately this has happened before and replacements came in pairs – yes a rummage through the spares box and we're back in business.
And then the “3” simcard expired, can't believe we've used 24GB already and topping it up is very expensive. For the moment the campsite wifi is perfectly adequate and we've got “hotspot” backup on a phone, but when we're next on a retail park we'll have a look for another alternative. Watching too many Utubes probably, you get too used to unlimited data on a home network.
Looking ahead, the weather forecast remains cool, though dry and sunny, for the next week pretty well all along the Spanish coast – but it's going to be a LOT colder at home.............
